How to make delicious tofu Pad Thai noodles

Tofu Pad Thai is a delicious and popular dish in Thai cuisine. This vegetarian dish is made with tofu and a variety of fresh vegetables. Let’s make delicious Tofu Pad Thai at home with the simple recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 200g Pad Thai noodles
  • 200g tofu
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 turnip
  • 1/2 red chili pepper
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/4 cup bean sprouts

Instructions:

  1. First, soak the Pad Thai noodles in warm water for about 10 minutes to make them softer. Then, boil the noodles in water for about 3-4 minutes, then scoop them out and drain.
  2. Next, cut the tofu into small square pieces and marinate with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Marinate the tofu for about 10 minutes.
  3. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Cut the onion, carrot, red bell pepper, and turnip into small pieces.
  4. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  5. Next, add the tofu to the pan and stir-fry until the tofu is golden. Then, add the onion and carrot to the pan and stir-fry until the vegetables are cooked.
  6. Add the Pad Thai noodles to the pan and mix well with the tofu and vegetables.
  7. Next, add the red bell pepper and turnip to the pan and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
  8. Finally, add 1-2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1-2 tablespoons of sugar, and the juice of 1/2 lime to the pan and stir-fry everything together for another minute.
  9. Serve the tofu Pad Thai with bean sprouts on top. Enjoy!
