Ingredients:
- 200g Pad Thai noodles
- 200g tofu
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 carrot
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 turnip
- 1/2 red chili pepper
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 lime
- 1/4 cup bean sprouts
Instructions:
- First, soak the Pad Thai noodles in warm water for about 10 minutes to make them softer. Then, boil the noodles in water for about 3-4 minutes, then scoop them out and drain.
- Next, cut the tofu into small square pieces and marinate with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Marinate the tofu for about 10 minutes.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic. Cut the onion, carrot, red bell pepper, and turnip into small pieces.
- Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Next, add the tofu to the pan and stir-fry until the tofu is golden. Then, add the onion and carrot to the pan and stir-fry until the vegetables are cooked.
- Add the Pad Thai noodles to the pan and mix well with the tofu and vegetables.
- Next, add the red bell pepper and turnip to the pan and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
- Finally, add 1-2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1-2 tablespoons of sugar, and the juice of 1/2 lime to the pan and stir-fry everything together for another minute.
- Serve the tofu Pad Thai with bean sprouts on top. Enjoy!
